Food Photography New Years Resolution

5 Jan

I know, it’s lame… but in 2013 I aim to produce one quality food photo each week for a total of 52 photos. I studied photography for three years when I was younger, and it’s a passion and hobby that I really miss. My goal is to relearn technical skills and techniques that I used to understand and practice, and hopefully my last photo will be much better than my first!

I didn’t have much time to get the first photo done and I understand that it’s not great; but, here is Photo #1: Margatini

Margarita Martini

Margatini | ISO 1600 | 36mm | f/5 | 1/60

And two more recent photos that I played around with while I was at it:

Blood Orange

Blood Orange | ISO 400 | 35mm | f/2.8 | 1/60

Pork Shoulder

A good start – I look forward to the coming weeks though you must be much more disciplined than me, I can’t commit to a weekly blog let alone a weekly star photo!

Thanks! It’s really tough, but since it’s something I really enjoy I’m hoping to stick to it!
