I recently moved into an office in Lincoln Park and am having a great time exploring the neighborhood restaurants on my lunch break; hence, “Lunch in Lincoln Park” was born. The first restaurant I had, at the recommendation of co-workers, was Green Tea Japanese Restaurant at 2206 N. Clark (we had it delivered). It was light but satisfying, perfect for a busy day.
Cucumber Salad thinly sliced cucumber with sweet vinegar sauce
This was a good sized cucumber salad. I enjoyed the sweet vinegar sauce, which was a bit less ‘gooey’ and a bit more balanced than other cucumber salad dressings I have had in the past. The seeds on top added good flavor and texture.
Philadelphia smoked salmon, cream cheese, cucumber & avocado
A solid Philly roll. I enjoyed the addition of avocado but would have preferred it sans seaweed.
For more information on Green Tea, check out their menu here. If you have any recommendations in Lincoln Park, please let me know in the comments below. Cheers!

I’ve been wanting to try this out, as it is a few blocks from where I live. I would recommend some a few blocks north of you, a great middle eastern place called Sultans Market that go to all the time, the sushi restaurant Torro, and a korean BBQ restaurant Del Seoul. Oh and of course, Molly’s Cupcakes
I love LP!
Thanks, Becky! I forgot about Sultans Market and will definitely have to check it out. The other two sound great as well, I really appreciate the suggestions. Cheers!
